Record Setting Turnout For The 2021 VA 5K

More than 300 people took part in the Sixth annual VA 5K on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, at the Lexington VA Health Care System’s Franklin R. Sousley campus in Lexington.  It’s the largest number of participants in the history of the event.  Our sincere thanks to everyone who took part, both virtually and in-person, along with the terrific sponsors, volunteers and supporters, including the Kentucky National Guard and Lexington Fire Department.  Proceeds from the event will be shared by Friends of Lexington Fisher House to help build the first Fisher House in Kentucky on VA property and the Lexington VA Health Care System, to target specific needs for veterans served by the health care system.  We look forward to your continued support at the 2022 VA 5K.
